Thank you everyone who made it to the outing, especially Pearly & Chandra, who have helped a lot with the very outstanding foods,  no one ever expected to have such a feast over there!

10. This lil guy was seen running around on the lake-bed of the meromictic lake. Tide was low and it was fairly dry.


11. Red pinchers : As I walked on the lake-bed, I could hear little scurrying feet running into the dry leaves to hide.

17. There were still small streams of fresh water running into the lake. Small fishes can be seen swimming in the clear water.

19. Crabs on the lake-bed...


20. Green Winged Pigeon : This bird was running around the beach looking for food.

22. Black Naped Oriole : This oriole was seen with a caterpillar in it's mouth. It then continued to bash the green lil helpless thing against the tree branch, usually to clear its guts before swallowing the yummy treat.

24. White Rumped Shama
This songster is seen flying around albeit a lack of songs. I would have expected more singing though.
Saw this bird in the morning in Botanical Gardens, and there was a whole lot more singing.
