With migratory birds such as these, even a 1200mm focal length is just not enuff sometimes as they tend to hang quite far out but in this case, waiting patiently in the car and staying real quiet helped in getting them out near enuff for a decent shot.

Chien.... i never go birding in the wild before, perhaps u know when u see my lousy shots today at the bird park.

$$$ is my prime issue.... and teleconverter will be my most probably solution... now, the 600mm will be another issue too...

.... with so many factors involved... maybe i'll just shoot crow, they are more people friendly, staying around the neighbourhood. 200mm will do....

btw, where are these birds from, and where are they migrating to ?
